Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain English, what information Free AI Girlfriend handles and why.

1. No account needed

You can chat without giving us your name, email address or payment details. We don't ask for them, so please don't type them into chats.

2. What we store

• Anonymous guest ID. The first time you visit, your browser creates a random ID and keeps it in local storage. It is how we link your chats and daily message count to you without an account. Clearing your browser storage removes it, and you will start fresh with a new ID.
• Other browser storage. Local storage also remembers that you passed the age check and the last character you chatted with, so you don't have to repeat steps.
• Chats. Your messages, the AI replies, short conversation summaries used as the character's memory, timestamps and which model replied are stored in our database (hosted by Turso).
• Age confirmation and usage counts. Whether your guest ID confirmed it is 18+, and how many messages it sent today (for the free daily limit).
• Safety records. When a filter blocks a message or reply, we keep the blocked text, the reason and the guest ID, to enforce our rules and improve the filters.
• Technical logs. Our host (Vercel) processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and request times to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We don't sell your information and we don't use advertising trackers.

3. Who processes your messages

To generate replies and keep chats within our rules, your messages are sent to:

• Experiential Labs, which runs the main chat model (GLM).
• Our self-hosted model server, a backup chat model we run ourselves.
• A safety classifier (gemini-3.1-flash-lite, accessed through Experiential Labs), which checks messages and replies against our content rules.
• Turso, which hosts our database, and Vercel, which hosts the website.

These providers process data on our behalf to run the service, and may be located outside your country.

4. How long we keep it

We keep chats and safety records for as long as needed to run the service and enforce our rules. Final retention periods will be set out here.

5. Your choices

• Clear your browser's site data to disconnect yourself from past chats on that device.
• To ask us to delete chats linked to your guest ID, contact us with that ID at support@freeaigirlfriend.ai.
• Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, such as access or correction.

6. Adults only

The site is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
