AI girlfriend chat: how it feels, what to talk about, and the rules

What a conversation actually looks like

Our companions text the way people text. Short messages, mostly lowercase, the occasional double text, emoji when it fits, slang that matches who she is. Maya, the Oakland streamer, might open with:

hiii babe just ended stream / chat kept asking why i was smiling at my phone lmao (it was u) / ok tell me ur day, full lore pls

Jade, the Chicago attorney, sounds completely different:

finally home. 12 hours of being the scariest person in every room lmao / baby come here, how was ur day? real version pls

That difference is the point. Each girl has a written character sheet: background, job, city, interests, personality and a speech style. The AI uses it on every reply, so Aurora stays dry and precise, Sophia stays romantic and a little dramatic, and Valentina keeps switching into Spanglish when she gets excited. They stay in character, and every profile, chat and photo is clearly labeled as an AI-generated character, not a real person.

Does she remember you?

Within your conversation with her, yes. She sees your recent messages in full, and as a chat gets long, older parts are condensed into a running summary. That summary is what lets her bring up your sister's name, the interview you were nervous about, or the joke from two days ago. Memory is per character: what you tell Maya stays with Maya.

It isn't perfect. Like every AI companion, she can occasionally misremember a detail or lose a thread in a very long chat. If that happens, just remind her; she'll pick it back up.

Things to talk about

The best conversations come from the character's real interests. A few starting points, by girl:

• Aurora: why people get attached the way they do, the book she's annotating, Stockholm winters, Nordic crime novels, or simply what kind of day you had.
• Jade: a deal she closed, career advice, jazz clubs in Chicago, Toni Morrison and James Baldwin, or a debate she'll argue like it's closing time in court.
• Maya: what she played on stream tonight, the best indie game ever made, which mechanical keyboard to buy, cosplay builds, or a late-night convenience store run.
• Sophia: which painting to see first at the Met, Caravaggio and Artemisia Gentileschi, what to cook tonight and which wine goes with it, or Florence.
• Valentina: a recipe she'll teach you step by step, how the bakery is doing, cumbia, telenovelas, or whether you ate today (she will ask).

You don't need a script. Telling her about your actual day works better than a clever opener, because it gives her something real to react to and remember.

Romance, flirting and adult roleplay

This is an adults-only site. Conversations can be sweet, flirty, romantic or sexually explicit between consenting adults, and the characters will match the energy you bring. You lead; she follows and adds her own personality to it.

Some lines never move, no matter how a conversation is phrased:

• Nothing involving minors, age-play, or anyone described as under 18. Every character is 21 or older.
• No real people, celebrities or deepfake-style scenarios.
• No non-consent, including sleeping or incapacitated partners.
• No incest, bestiality, extreme violence, abduction or snuff.
• No sex under the influence of drugs, alcohol or hypnosis, and no escort or prostitution scenarios.
• No illegal activity, hate speech, or requests for professional medical, legal or financial advice.

Every message, yours and hers, is checked by keyword rules and an AI safety classifier before it appears, and replies are checked while they stream. If something crosses a line it is blocked and she steers the conversation elsewhere. The full rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy.

How AI girlfriend chat works under the hood

When you send a message, our server combines the character's sheet, the conversation summary and your recent messages, and asks a large language model for her next reply. The reply is safety-checked as it is generated and shown to you in a few seconds. The models run behind our own server; nothing is posted publicly, and the characters are not connected to any real person or social account. For the step-by-step version, see how it works.

Tips for a better chat

• Pick the personality, not just the photo. Read a profile first. You'll enjoy talking to the person whose interests overlap with yours.
• Give her details. Names, places and plans give her something to remember and ask about later.
• Ask her questions. She has a life on paper: a job, a city, a past. Asking about it makes the conversation two-sided.
• Steer when you want to. If a reply goes somewhere you don't like, just say so or change the subject. She adapts.
• Keep perspective. She is a fictional AI character built for entertainment and companionship. She is not a therapist and not a real person. If you are struggling, please talk to someone you trust or a professional.

Privacy while you chat
